Coming from Greece, I joined Pittville School in Year 9. My English knowledge was minimal and communication was a huge issue for me. Pittville gave me all the support I needed to develop self-confidence and to blend in a new environment. As an active individual I had the opportunity to participate in many sporting events and be part of the school’s football team. My teachers were truly excellent and gave me that extra push I needed to achieve great things in the future. After my GCSE’s, I completed my A-levels at Bournside’s Sixth Form managing to secure a place at Coventry university. I am currently a second-year student of BSc Analytical Chemistry and Forensic Science. Looking back at my school years, Pittville certainly gave me lifelong memories and friendships that I will always be thankful for.
